The Learning Technology Centre (LTC) offers support and guidance for staff wishing to develop various types of non-standard provision including distance learning. This covers the design, development, and delivery of flexible learning programmes (paper-based, on-line and blended learning) and includes technical, methodological and pedagogical advice.
The principal aim of the LTC is to support the College’s Learning and Teaching strategy, and the Take 5 Initiative.

A member of the LTC will sit down with you one-on-one and help determine the tools that will benefit your teaching style or topic most effectively. Our staff are experienced in the integration of different teaching styles, learning styles, accessibility and the tools that help create an effective online learning environment.
Contact us to discuss any aspect of your course content, tools, or assessment needs.

Hardware Resources

The Learning Technologies Centre holds a collection of hardware and software which will be available to all staff members for research, development or material creation.
Drop in to the LTC to discuss any software or hardware requirements.
